there is something that seems so dolce gabbana handbags odd about paying almost $230 for a handbag that has a description of itself plastered on the front. as quirky as always, marc jacobs actually chose to have the words “type: big tote” printed on this overlay tote.
of course, fans of the marc by mj brand will probably recognize the designer’s standard supply logo, which has appeared on other items like shopper handbags and cosmetic bags with their own appropriate descriptions. the signature utility-like print is simple and very plain when on a canvas tote, but it chloe handbags becomes something much more on this floral version.
the standard supply overlay bag is not your typical spring floral, though. this is very different than the bold look of the dooney & bourke cindy tote, which is the kind of print i tend to prefer on a flowy top or sundress rather than a purse.

there’s nothing as disappointing as when one of your favorite designers comes up with something that you think is totally unoriginal. then you have to begin to question your own taste and wonder whether they were ever original at all.
not that i would ever wonder those things about marc jacobs. i think he’s pretty much proven himself to be a complete genius over the years. well, thomas wylde handbags i guess even geniuses have off days, because this bag looks like it walked straight out of a chanel store circa 1992. seriously, it looks so much like a chanel caviar bag that if you just threw a double c logo on it, i’m pretty sure it would fool anyone.
all that being said, the bag is still cute, and there’s no way you could mulberry handbags walk out of a chanel store with a bag like this for $575. the color is, as far as i’m concerned, what really makes this bag work. the single has both a chain and a leather strap, so you can carry it on your wrist or sling it over your shoulder. the 8″ x 6″ x 2″ is perfect for a night on the town when you don’t need to carry much with you.
the metallic fuchsia quilted leather manages to look both brilliantly offbeat and a little elegant designer handbags at the same time. it would be the perfect complement to a simple black dress or even something really loud and crazy. so, despite its lack of complete and total singularity, the single is a hot designer bag at a decent price.

oh, there’s nothing like a little marc jacobs in the summer time to maximize your fun in the sun! his poppy prada handbags color palette and fresh, juicy designs are the perfect additions to long days and longer nights.
this structured hobo, called the tobo, i think because it melds his totally turnlock collection with a classic hobo, is awesome. it’s a hobo with a flat bottom! i know, i get a little excited over seemingly minor innovations, but seriously, i love having the look of a hobo on a bag that doesn’t totally collapse when black handbag you set it down.
my over-enthusiasm aside, this bag does look pretty hot. the smooth grained berry leather will add a great burst of color to your wardrobe, and will look amazing against increasingly popular floral prints. the flap and turnlock closure adds a cute and casual touch to the structure of the bag, and makes the softness of the hobo shape shine through.
i really dig the thick, gathered leather handle, it looks like it was made for comfort. and on a bag this size, that’s really important. particularly because you’ll balenciaga handbags want to carry it everywhere. and the price, at $498, is pretty reasonable for the designer category, so you might just be able to!

the marc by marc jacobs softy collection of bags is some of the designer’s best, i ysl handbags think. some would probably disagree with me, but if i’m going to pay over $450 for a handbag, it’ll most likely be for something timeless like this.
most of the softy bags have pretty shapes, nice color choices, and soft leather material, of course. these qualities generally add up to the kind of purse that will last a while, which is why miumiu handbags i like the line so much. there have been quite a few “softies” to be released, but i really like the classic shape of the jorie.
the pale gray color isn’t a completely unexpected shade. however, it’s an interesting detour from basic black or brown, yet still neutral enough to work with quite a few outfits.
no one could accuse the jorie tote of lacking storage. there are quite valentino handbags a few exterior pockets in addition to your typical interior storage. slip pockets on either side of the tote are great for tucking a few small items away. there’s also a horizontal pocket with two zipper entries on the front of the bag.
a mini coin purse, also on the front, doesn’t add much practicality, but it sure is cute. pretty silver, logo-engraved studs and the marc by marc jacobs emblem finish off the softy jorie beautifully.

the opposite of minimalism is called maximalism, and this is what it looks like. i’m honestly surprised that this look is coming to us from marc jacobs, as his designs are usually a little cleaner and more pared down, but i am delighted nonetheless. i have seen a lot of “ethnic” inspired boho designs lately, but this dolce gabbana handbags is on the more interesting side of new.
the gathered multiple flap top is composed of mustard suede, blue snakeskin, and zebra printed calfskin. this is not a combination i would have thought of, but the result is lovely. it strikes a precarious balance of textures and colors that is absolutely intriguing, and, i think, quite lovely.
the chloe handbags pouch shape of the bag really suits the style, and is lined entirely in smooth grained leather. the back of the front flaps feature metallic leather linings, a small luxurious detail for the afficianado. i’m not always a fan of dangling charms, but i like the ornately designed leather tassels hangng from the side. they complement the asymmetry of the bg beautifully.
the guitar strap inspired shoulder strap is a touch that i am not ysl handbags entirely sure about. one part of me loves this additional texture, and another part thinks that maybe a simpler leather strap would have been sufficient. in any case, this is definitely not a bag for the faint of heart, but i think it will find a lot of fans, anyhow.

be still, my beating heart. the new marc jacobs collection accessories for summer have me feeling faint. despite economic hard times, mr. jacobs has combined some of the most striking and luxurious materials on the planet in this exciting new line.
the traditional shape of the stam bag looks amazing in this ingenious combination of colors and textures. purple snakeskin cheap designer handbags has been woven with contrasting metallic strands of green and red leather to create the material. honestly, i have just never seen anything like it, and i mean that in the best way possible.
although the memphis stam combines cutting edge design techniques, the effect is absolutely ladylike. the colors of the bag set of the gold toned hardware gorgeously, and i am completely won over by the combination balenciaga handbags of the dual rolled snakeskin handles with the removable chain link shoulder strap. the kiss lock closure and the charms dangling from the front exterior pocket are quirky and loveable touches.
overall, i think this bag is so ingeniously designed that i have a hard time finding anything wrong with it. except that, while i adore the look of the huge chain roberto cavalli handbags shoulder strap, i think its probably not the most comfortable strap out there. the generous 17″ x 9″ x 8.5″ size is big enough to accommodate the belongings of almost any woman.
with offerings like the memphis stam, i can’t wait to see more from the new marc jacobs collection.
